About The Lawyer:

Dong focuses her practice on real estate transactions. She represents both individuals and businesses in purchase, sale and mortgage transactions.

Dong also advises clients in commercial matters, including incorporation, acquisitions, leasing and dispute resolution. She has represented clients in various courts and tribunals.

Over the years, Dong has accumulated experience in estate administration, Will drafting, and trust setup, advising client on succession law and family law in relation to estate planning. Dong has worked for clients in uncontested divorce matters.

Dong originally came from China and is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. She acquired certificate as a Court Interpreter in 1990 for the Mandarin dialect. She studied at Carleton University and obtained her Master's degree in Journalism in 1991. She went to University of Ottawa for her law studies and received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2007. She is currently enrolled in the professional L.L.M program at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
